This standard establishes requirements for the design and testing of enclosures with limited gas passage for non-electrical equipment intended for use in potentially explosive environments, in conditions where the environment outside the enclosure becomes explosive in rare cases and lasts a very short time. This standard is used in conjunction with GOST 31441.1, fully applicable to equipment designed in accordance with this standard.
Настоящий стандарт устанавливает требования к конструкции и испытаниям оболочек с ограниченным пропуском газов для неэлектрического оборудования, предназначенного для применения в потенциально взрывоопасных средах, в условиях, когда среда снаружи оболочки становится взрывоопасной в редких случаях и сохраняется очень непродолжительное время. Настоящий стандарт применяется совместно с ГОСТ 31441.1, полностью распространяющегося на оборудование, конструкция которого выполнена в соответствии с настоящим стандартом
