This standard applies to armor, designed to protect the trunk and limbs of a person (with the exception of the feet and hands) from cold and firearms, as well as the destruction of shrapnel. The standard establishes a classification of armor clothing and general technical requirements for it, necessary for the development, manufacture and testing of relevant products. The standard does not apply to armor, developed and (or) produced by order of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, as well as head protection
Настоящий стандарт распространяется на бронеодежду, предназначенную для защиты туловища и конечностей человека (за исключением стоп ног и кистей рук) от холодного и огнестрельного стрелкового оружия, а также поражения осколками. Стандарт устанавливает классификацию бронеодежды и общие технические требования к ней, необходимые для разработки, изготовления и испытаний соответствующей продукции. Стандарт не распространяется на бронеодежду, разрабатываемую и (или) производимую по заказу Министерства обороны Российской Федерации, а также на средства защиты головы
