Safety in emergencies. Protection of water supply systems. General requirements

Status: Effective - Introduced for the first time

The standard establishes general requirements for the protection of centralized drinking water supply systems (CPSUs) in cities and other places based on surface water sources subject to periodic or systematic pollution and emergency discharges of substances hazardous to human life and health. The standard does not apply to decentralized drinking water supply of individual buildings, cottages, temporary facilities, etc.
