Drinking water. Sampling
Status: Not effective - Canceled. Registration information 1514-st dated 11.29.2012 (official site of Rosstandart)
The standard establishes requirements for the sampling of drinking water produced and supplied by centralized drinking water supply systems intended for consumption in drinking and household purposes, including used for the production of food and beverages (hereinafter - water), which should guide the development of programs and methods sampling, preparation of samples for determining the composition and properties and during transportation and storage. The standard is used to assess the stability of technological processes of water treatment, control of individual operations of technological processes of water treatment, assessment of water quality before entering the distribution network, the distribution network, including the internal water supply networks of houses, searching for the causes of network contamination. The requirements of the standard can be used in the control of water pollution by corrosion products; assessing the impact of materials in contact with water on water quality; water quality control conducted at various stages of the technological processes of food and beverage production. The standard does not apply to the sampling of water from underground water sources, surface water bodies and streams, as well as springs.
