The standard specifies the criteria for selecting candidates from selected testers, technologists or marketers who meet the selection criteria specified in ISO 8586-1. The standard specifies the principles and the procedure for their selection, as well as deepens their knowledge and skills in the field of sensory analysis of the level of the sensory expert tester. The standard establishes requirements for sensory sensory testers when developing product and material profiles using descriptors. The standard complements the information given in ISO 6658.
Стандарт не распространяется на песчаные и глинистые грунты и устанавливает метод полевого испытания их динамическим зондированием при инженерно-геологических исследованиях для строительства. Стандарт не распространяется на грунты песчаные и глинистые, содержащие крупнообломочные включения более 40 % по массе, а также на грунты всех видов в мерзлом состоянии.
