This standard establishes test methods for packaging (full shipping container) or single loads for stacking using static load, followed by determining the deformation of the package or damage to the contents of the package. Tests are used to assess the strength of the package or the degree of protection of the packaged products that the package provides. Tests can be carried out as separate tests to determine the effect of stacking (deformation) or as part of a set of sequential tests to determine the ability of a package to withstand loads.
Настоящий стандарт устанавливает методы испытаний упаковки (наполненной транспортной тары) ил единичных грузов на штабелирование с применением статической нагрузки с последующим определением деформации упаковки или повреждения содержимого упаковки. Испытания применяют для оценки прочности упаковки или степени защиты упакованной продукции, которую обеспечивает упаковка. Испытания можно проводить как отдельные испытания для определения влияния штабелирования (деформации) или как часть комплекса последовательных испытаний для определения способности упаковки выдерживать нагрузки
