Status: Effective - Introduced for the first time. IUS 1-2014
The standard applies to special additional shoes, worn over the main footwear to protect the legs and the main footwear working from radioactive and chemically toxic substances. The standard does not apply to disposable single-use or short-term protective footwear used for radioactive substances, which is not subject to decontamination or dry-cleaning and after a single use or contamination above the established allowable (control) level is sent for recycling. The standard does not apply to safety shoes used when working with closed sources of ionizing radiation, if the working conditions do not require deactivatability requirements for safety shoes. The standard establishes the technical requirements for the decontaminated additional footwear and methods for testing it.
Стандарт распространяется на специальную дополнительную обувь, надеваемую поверх основной спецобуви для защиты ног и основной обуви работающего от ра��иоактивных и химически токсичных веществ. Стандарт не распространяется на применяемую приработе с радиоактивными веществами спецобувь одноразового или краткосрочного применения, которая не подлежит дезактивации или химической чистке и после разового применения или загрязнения свыше установленного допустимого (контрольного) уровня направляется на утилизацию. Стандарт не распространяется на спецобувь, применяемую при работе с закрытыми источниками ионизирующего излучения, если по условиям труда к спецобуви не предъявляются требования по дезактивируемости. Стандарт устанавливает технические требования к дезактивируемой дополнительной спецобуви и методы ее испытания.
