The standard is intended for use in limiting the harmonic components of the current injected into the general-purpose power supply systems. The standard applies to electrical, electronic and electronic products and equipment with a nominal current consumption of more than 16 A, but not more than 75 A in one phase, intended for connection to low-voltage distribution electric networks of general-purpose AC power supply systems.
