Electrical thermal equipment. General test methods

Status: Effective - Introduced for the first time. IUS 11-2013
The standard applies to the following industrial electrothermal equipment: - arc electric furnaces of direct and indirect heating; - induction electric furnaces; - Electroslag remelting furnaces; - electron beam electric furnaces; - plasma electric furnaces; - laser industrial electric furnaces; - electrothermal equipment of medium and high-frequency induction electric heating; - electrothermal equipment dielectric heating; - electrothermal equipment of direct and indirect resistance heating; - electrothermal equipment infrared electric heating; - Electrothermal equipment of ultra-high frequencies. The standard does not apply to electrothermal equipment and devices for cooking, home heating, industrial facilities and other similar purposes, as well as electrothermal equipment for agricultural purposes. The standard establishes the conditions and general test methods of industrial electrothermal equipment in order to confirm the compliance of its technical characteristics, as well as factors affecting safety and the environment, with the requirements of regulatory documents. The standard does not establish a mandatory test list and is not restrictive.
Стандарт распространяется на следующее промышленное электротермическое оборудование: - дуговые электропечи прямого и косвенного нагрева; - индукционные электропечи; - печи электрошлакового переплава; - электронно-лучевые электропечи; - плазменные электропечи; - лазерные промышленные электропечи; - электротермическое оборудование средне- и высокочастотного индукционного электронагрева; - электротермическое оборудование диэлектрического нагрева; - электротермическое оборудование прямого и косвенного нагрева сопротивлением; - электротермическое оборудование инфракрасного электронагрева; - электротермическое оборудование сверхвысоких частот. Стандарт не распространяется на электротермическое оборудование и устройства для приготовления пищи, отопления домов, промышленных объектов и других подобных целей, а также электротермическое оборудование сельскохозяйственного назначения. Стандарт устанавливает условия и общие методы испытаний промышленного электротермического оборудования с целью подтверждения соответствия его технических характеристик, а также факторов, влияющих на безопасность труда и окружающую среду, требованиям нормативных документов. Стандарт не устанавливает обязательный перечень испытаний и не является ограничительным.
