This standard, used in conjunction with ISO 9902-1, establishes the installation conditions, mode of operation and methods of measurement, statements and confirmation of the values of the noise characteristics of machines for the production of threads, ropes and ropes. The standard applies to the following families of machines: - machines for harvesting; - Twisting machines; - Rope machines; - braiding machines; - machines for string braiding. The standard establishes a technical (degree of accuracy 2) and approximate (degree of accuracy 3) noise measurement methods
