The standard establishes a method for determining total arsenic and a method for determining selenium in food products using atomic absorption spectrometry with the preliminary generation of hydrides of the detected elements in the sample solution obtained by the method of acid mineralization under pressure. The standard does not apply to food products for which the methods for determining arsenic and selenium are regulated by special standards, which must be borne in mind when choosing a method of determination.
Стандарт устанавливает метод определения общего мышьяка и метод определения селена в пищевых продуктах с помощью атомно-абсорбционной спектрометрии с предварительной генерацией гидридов определяемых элементов в растворе пробы, полученном способом кислотной минерализации под давлением. Стандарт не распространяется на пищевые продукты, для которых методы определения мышьяка и селена регламентированы специальными стандартами, что необходимо иметь в виду при выборе метода определения.
