Plastic pipes. Method of determination of the resistance to constant internal pressure
Status: Not effective - Superseded. IUS 1-2015; Registration information 201-st dated 03/20/2014 (Rosstandart official website)
The standard applies to pipes made of plastic and establishes a method for determining resistance when exposed to constant internal pressure. The essence of the method is that the sample is subjected to a constant internal pressure for a given period of time - in the control tests or until the moment of destruction - to establish the dependence "initial stress - time before the start of destruction". The standard can be applied to test elements of pipe joints.
