The standard establishes ways to ensure preservation under artificial cooling conditions or without it for botanical varieties of cabbage (Brassica oleracea Linnaeus, var. Capitata Linnaeus) and Savoy cabbage (Brassica oleracea Linnaeus, var. Sabauda Linnaeus). The standard applies only to botanical varieties of cabbage late ripening. suitable for long-term (at least 4 months) storage.
