The standard establishes general technical requirements for technical thermocouples of resistance (TC), the sensitive elements (SE) of which are made of platinum, copper and nickel, and methods for their testing. The standard applies to vehicles designed to measure temperatures from minus 200 ° C to plus 850 ° C or in part of this range.
