The standard applies to: working and exemplary measuring instruments, as well as calibration facilities that are not subject to state testing according to GOST 8.001; measuring channels included in the system of automatic or automated measurement, control, management and other systems (complexes), not intended for mass production; single copies of serial production measuring instruments used in conditions and modes that differ from conditions and modes for which their metrological characteristics are normalized, or in the design of which changes have been made that affect these characteristics experimental (head) and experimental samples of measuring instruments (with the exception of samples that have passed state acceptance tests with positive results), made in the process of performing experimental design and research works, transferred to operation; measuring instruments purchased by import in single copies or in small batches. This standard establishes the general requirements for the organization and procedure for metrological certification of measuring instruments, as a type of state metrological supervision and departmental control.
Стандарт распространяется на: рабочие и образцовые средства измерений, а также поверочные установки, не подлежащие государственным испытаниям по ГОСТ 8.001; измерительные каналы, входящие в системы автоматического или автоматизированного измерения, контроля, управления и другие системы (комплексы), не предназначенные для серийного производства; единичные экземпляры средств измерений серийного выпуска, применяемые в условиях и режимах, отличающихся от условий и режимов, для которых нормированы их метрологические характеристики, либо в конструкцию которых внесены изменения, влияющие на эти характеристики; опытные (головные) и экспериментальные образцы средств измерений (за исключением образцов, прошедших государственные приемочные испытания с положительными результатами), изготовленные в процессе выполнения опытно-конструкторских и научно-исследовательских работ, передаваемые в эксплуатацию; средства измерений, приобретаемые по импорту в единичных экземплярах или мелкими партиями. Настоящий стандарт устанавливает общие требования к организации и порядку проведения метрологической аттестации средств измерений, как разновидности государственного метрологического надзора и ведомственного контроля
