This standard applies to the means of displaying information for individual use on cathode-ray tubes and discrete (matrix) screens (displays, video monitors, video modules, video display terminals; hereinafter - displays), which are the terminal devices for displaying information tools and computing equipment. The standard establishes ergonomic requirements and safety requirements for displays, including visual ergonomic parameters and radiation of displays related to harmful and dangerous production factors, the influence of which can lead to a deterioration in the health of users. The standard is mandatory for use in the design, manufacture, operation and certification
Настоящий стандарт распространяется на средства отображения информации индивидуального пользования на электронно-лучевых трубках и дискретных (матричных) экранах (дисплеи, видеомониторы, видеомодули, видеодисплейные терминалы; далее - дисплеи), являющиеся оконечными устройствами отображения средств информатизации и вычислительной техники. Стандарт устанавливает эргономические требования и требования безопасности к дисплеям, в том числе к визуальным эргономическим параметрам и излучениям дисплеев, относящимся к вредным и опасным производственным факторам, влияние которых может привести к ухудшению здоровья пользователей. Стандарт обязателен для применения при проектировании, изготовлении, эксплуатации и сертификации
