Silicate paints

The standard applies to silicate paints, which are a suspension of alkali-resistant pigments and fillers in the form of separated chalk and talc, silicates in the form of dry zinc oxide or calcium borate in aqueous solution of high modulus potassium silicate. Silicate paints are intended for exterior and interior decoration of buildings and structures by painting brick , concrete and plastered surfaces.
