The standard applies to special protective clothing designed to protect workers from splashes and drops of acid solutions. The standard establishes technical requirements for special clothing and textile materials with acid-proof finishes (impregnations), as well as requirements for compounds and elements of protective clothing, packaging, labeling, transportation and storage, safety requirements and instructions for use. The standard is applied in the design of special clothing, production and certification. The standard does not apply to special clothing and clothing materials, the use of which makes it possible to come into contact with jets or a stream of acid solutions.
Стандарт распространяется на специальную защитную одежду, предназначенную для защиты работающих от брызг и капель растворов кислот. Стандарт устанавливает технические требования к специальной одежде и текстильным материалам с кислотозащитными отделками (пропитками), а также требования к соединениям и элементам защитной одежды, к упаковке, маркировке, транспортированию и хранению, требованиям безопасности и инструкции по эксплуатации. Стандарт применяется при проектировании специальной одежды, постановке на производство и сертификации. Стандарт не распространяется на специальную одежду и материалы одежды, при использовании которых возможен контакт со струями или потоком растворов кислот.
