The standard applies to high-frequency devices for industrial, scientific, medical, and household purposes (hereinafter referred to as PNMB HF devices), equipment for electroerosion processing, arc welding machines, and sets standards for industrial radio interference (IRP) and measurement methods. The scope of the standard covers the frequency range from 9 kHz to 400 GHz, but the norms of the IRP are set in the frequency range from 150 kz to 18 GHz. Measurements at frequencies in relation to which the norms are not established are not carried out. The standard establishes the requirements for PNMB HF electric lighting equipment and light equipment of ultraviolet radiation, operating at frequencies in the bands allocated to PNMB RF devices in accordance with [1], [2]. Requirements for other types of electrical lighting equipment are given in GOST R 51318.15 and [3]. The standard also sets the voltage standards of the IRP at the network terminals of medical high-frequency equipment for electrosurgery (with the output circuit switched off).

Стандарт распространяется на высокочастотные устройства промышленного, научного, медицинского, а также бытового назначения (далее ПНМБ ВЧ устройства), оборудование электроэрозионной обработки, аппараты дуговой сварки и устанавливает нормы индустриальных радиопомех (ИРП) и методы измерений. Область применения стандарта охватывает полосу частот от 9 кГц до 400 ГГц, но нормы ИРП установлены в полосе частот от 150 кц до 18 ГГц. Измерения на частотах, применительно к которым нормы не установлены, не проводят. Стандарт устанавливает требования к ПНМБ ВЧ электрическому световому оборудованию и световому оборудованию ультрафиолетового излучения, работающему на частотах в полосах, выделенных ПНМБ ВЧ устройствам в соответствии с [1], [2]. Требования к другим видам электрического светового оборудования приведены в ГОСТ Р 51318.15 и [3]. Стандарт также устанавливает нормы напряжения ИРП на сетевых зажимах медицинской высокочастотной аппаратуры для электрохирургии (при выключенной выходной цепи).
