This standard establishes a test method for assessing flame propagation under specified conditions using vertically arranged beams of electrical or optical wires and cables. This standard applies to test category C and applies to cables that are attached to a test ladder to obtain a total nominal volume of 1.5 liters of non-metallic material over a length of 1 m of the test specimen. Flame exposure time - 20 min. For fastening use the front side of a standard ladder. This category is intended for general use in cases where small amounts of non-metallic materials are required.
Настоящий стандарт устанавливает метод испытания по оценке распространения пламени в заданных условиях по вертикально расположенным пучкам электрических или оптических проводов и кабелей. Настоящий стандарт касается категории испытания C и распространяется на кабели, которые закрепляют на испытательной лестнице для получения общего номинального объема неметаллического материала 1,5 л на длине 1 м испытуемого образца. Время воздействия пламени - 20 мин. Для крепления используют переднюю сторону стандартной лестницы. Данная категория предназначена для общего применения в тех случаях, когда требуется испытать небольшие объемы неметаллических материалов
