Design of fans working in potentially explosive atmospheres
Status: Effective - Introduced for the first time. IUS 8-2013
This standard establishes requirements for the design of fans belonging to equipment group II (subgroups IIA, IIB) with levels of explosion protection equipment Ga, Gb and Gc and group III with levels of explosion protection equipment Db, Dc intended for use in potentially explosive environments. The requirements of this standard do not apply to fans related to equipment of group I (fans for mines), cooling fans or impellers of rotating electrical machines and internal combustion engines
