This standard describes the structure and content of the series of standards "Electromagnetic compatibility of technical equipment. Systems and equipment for railway transport", which applies to developed, modernized, imported subsystems of railway transport infrastructure, railway rolling stock and its component parts. This system of standards does not apply to radio transmitting devices operating at assigned frequencies, as well as to equipment intended for providing medical care, such as pacemakers. This series of standards does not address the impact on technical means associated with an electromagnetic pulse from a nuclear explosion, the phenomenon of induction from a direct lightning strike, the biological effects of non-ionizing radiation, the aurora and non-standard operating conditions. This standard defines the criteria for the quality of the functioning of technical equipment, provides the main types of electromagnetic interference, a list of subsystems of the infrastructure of railway transport and rolling stock, which are sources of electromagnetic interference
В настоящем стандарте приведена структура и содержание серии стандартов "Совместимость технических средств электромагнитная. Системы и оборудование железнодорожного транспорта", которая распространяется на разрабатываемые, модернизируемые, импортируемые подсистемы инфраструктуры железнодорожного транспорта, железнодорожный подвижной состав и его составные части. Данная система стандартов не распространяется на радиопередающие устройства, работающие на присвоенных частотах, а также на аппаратуру, предназначенную для оказания медицинской помощи, например, электро-кардиостимуляторы. В данной серии стандартов не рассматривается воздействие на технические средства, связанные с электромагнитным импульсом от ядерного взрыва, явлением индукции от прямого удара молнии, биологическим воздействием неионизирующей радиации, полярным сиянием и нестандартными рабочими условиями. В настоящем стандарте определены критерии качества функционирования технических средств, приведены основные виды электромагнитных помех, перечень подсистем инфраструктуры железнодорожного транспорта и подвижного состава, являющиеся источниками электромагнитных помех
