This standard establishes the requirements for a unique, devoid of semantic meaning string of characters, designed to uniquely identify product groups. The string of characters is intended to be represented as a linear or two-dimensional bar code symbol, on a radio frequency tag or on other data carrier attached to the product and / or material and used in automatic identification and data collection in order to meet the requirements for managing a single batch or lot . The standards included in the ISO / IEC 15459 suite correspond to the objectives of the target management of various classes of objects, which allows to ensure the fulfillment of various needs by using unique identifiers associated with each class
Настоящий стандарт устанавливает требования к уникальной, лишенной семантического смысла строке знаков, предназначенной для уникальной идентификации групп продукции. Строка знаков предназначена для представления в виде линейного или двумерного символа штрихового кода, на радиочастотной метке или на ином носителе данных, прикрепляемом к продукции и/или материалу и применяемом при автоматической идентификации и сборе данных с целью соответствия требованиям, предъявляемым к управлению единичной партией или лотом. Стандарты, входящие в комплекс ИСО/МЭК 15459, соответствуют задачам целевого управления различными классами предметов, что позволяет обеспечить выполнение разнообразных потребностей путем использования уникальных идентификаторов, связанных с каждым классом
