Status: Effective

The standard applies to reusable and disposable metal medical instruments (including in sterile packaging), as well as to trauma products intended for the domestic market and for export to countries with a temperate and tropical climate. The standard does not apply to instruments designed to work with radioactive substances, implants, mechanized instruments for endoscopes, high-frequency surgical devices, surgical ultrasonic and laser devices, as well as auxiliary tools, accessories and fixtures.

Стандарт распространяется на металлические медицинские инструменты многократного и одноразового применения (в том числе в стерильной упаковке), а также на травматологические изделия, предназначенные для внутреннего рынка и экспорта в страны с умеренным и тропическим климатом. Стандарт не распространяется на инструменты, предназначенные для работы с радиоактивными веществами, имплантаты, механизированные инструменты для эндоскопов, хирургических высокочастотных аппаратов, хирургических ультразвуковых и лазерных аппаратов, а также вспомогательные инструменты, принадлежности и приспособления.
