This standard applies to column heads - component parts of the wellhead piping of oil and gas wells. The requirements of this standard are harmonized with the American Institute of Petroleum Institute (USA) API Spec 6A. The scope of harmonization of the requirements of the standard is given in Appendix A. The standard is suitable for certification purposes.
