This standard applies to electrical gas cleaning devices (electrostatic precipitators). Electrostatic precipitators are devices in which the purification of gases from suspended solid and liquid particles is carried out under the action of electrical forces. The scope of electrostatic precipitators is the capture of solid and liquid suspended particles from process gases and aspiration systems. The electrostatic precipitators are not used if the gas to be purified is an explosive mixture or such a mixture can form during the cleaning process as a result of deviations from the normal process conditions.
Настоящий стандарт распространяется на аппараты электрической очистки газов (электрофильтры). Электрофильтры представляют собой устройства, в которых очистка газов от взвешенных твердых и жидких частиц осуществляется под действием электрических сил. Областью применения электрофильтров является улавливание твердых и жидких взвешенных частиц из технологических газов и систем аспирации. Электрофильтры не применяются, если очищаемый газ представляет собой взрывоопасную смесь или такая смесь может образовываться в ходе процесса очистки в результате отклонений от нормального технологического режима
