This standard applies to the following devices for alternating voltage up to 1000 V and direct voltage up to 1200 V: automatic and non-automatic switches, disconnectors, contactors, magnetic starters, relays, controllers, fuses, resistors, rheostats and other devices, and establishes methods for testing electrical parameters, heating, wear resistance, size, effort, weight, installation, interchangeability, as well as visual inspection of devices
