Status: Not effective - Canceled in the Russian Federation. IUS 4-2012

The standard establishes methods for measuring the parameters of laser radiation in the wavelength range of 0.25–20.0 ?m at a given point in space in order to determine the degree of danger of radiation to the human body. The standard is obligatory for all ministries and departments of the USSR that develop and operate lasers. The standard should be applied in conjunction with GOST 12.1.040.

Стандарт устанавливает методы измерений параметров лазерного излучения в диапазоне длин волн 0,25-20,0 мкм в заданной точке пространства с целью определения степени опасности излучения для организма человека. Стандарт обязателен для всех министерстви ведомств СССР, разрабатывающих и эксплуатирующих лазеры. Стандарт следует применять совместно с ГОСТ 12.1.040.
