The standard applies to shells supplied by the manufacturer, in which the distribution and control equipment is not installed, carried out by the consumer. The standard establishes the definitions, classification, characteristics, as well as test methods for enclosures used as part of complete distribution and control devices for rated voltage up to 1000 V AC with a frequency of no more than 1000 Hz or 1500 V DC of general purpose, intended for installation inside and outside buildings
Стандарт распространяется на оболочки, поставляемые изготовителем, в которые не установлена аппаратура распределения и управления, осуществляемая потребителем. Стандарт устанавливает определения, классификацию, характеристики, а также методы испытаний оболочек, используемых как часть комплектных устройств распределения и управления на номинальное напряжение до 1000 В переменного тока частотой не более 1000 Гц или 1500 В постоянного тока общего назначения, предназначенных для установки внутри и снаружи зданий
