The standard applies to generator sets with gasoline, diesel and gas internal combustion engines. The standard establishes requirements for the reliability of power generating sets and methods for their control. The standard does not apply to power generating sets of aircraft, land vehicles, locomotives and welding units.
Стандарт распространяется на электрогенераторные установки с бензиновыми, дизельными и газовыми двигателями внутреннего сгорания. Стандарт устанавливает требования к надежности электрогенераторных установок и методы их контроля. Стандарт не распространяется на электрогенераторные установки летательных аппаратов, наземных автотранспортных средств, локомотивов и сварочные электроагрегаты.
