This standard establishes the basic terms and their definitions in the field of waste management as a constantly replenished (conditionally renewable) secondary material resources, using which an economic entity (legal entity or individual entrepreneur) as a raw material seeks for resource and energy saving in business processes simultaneous reduction of anthropogenic load on the environment. This standard applies to secondary material resources resulting from production and consumption waste in business processes. This standard does not apply to waste from defense products, medical, biological and nuclear waste. The terms and definitions set forth in this standard are intended for use in regulatory, regulatory, technical and design documentation, as well as in scientific, technical, educational and reference literature in relation to the process of involving production and consumption waste as secondary material raw materials and energy resources to ensure environmental protection in the processes of economic activity
Настоящий стандарт устанавливает основные термины и их определения в области обращения с отходами как с постоянно пополняемыми (условно возобновляемыми) вторичными материальными ресурсами, при использовании которых в виде сырья хозяйствующий субъект (юридическое лицо или индивидуальный предприниматель) добивается ресурсо- и энергосбережения в процессах хозяйственной деятельности с одновременным снижением техногенной нагрузки на окружающую среду. Настоящий стандарт распространяется на вторичные материальные ресурсы, образующиеся из отходов производства и потребления в процессах хозяйственной деятельности. Настоящий стандарт не распространяется на отходы от оборонной продукции, на медицинские, биологические и ядерные отходы. Термины и определения, установленные в настоящем стандарте, предназначены для применения в нормативно-правовой, нормативной, технической и проектно-конструкторской документации, а также в научно-технической, учебной и справочной литературе применительно к процессам вовлечения отходов производства и потребления в качестве вторичных материально-сырьевых и топливно-энергетических ресурсов с обеспечением защиты окружающей среды в процессах хозяйственной деятельности
