Status: Not effective - Canceled. Registration information 1629-st dated 12.22.2011
This standard establishes safety requirements and / or safety measures to eliminate hazards and reduce the risks associated with the use of Group III piston internal combustion engines with explosion levels Db and Dc for use in potentially explosive atmospheres containing combustible dust. This standard does not apply to spark ignition engines. This standard does not apply to engines used in premises for the processing, manufacture or storage of explosives. This standard establishes methods for the necessary testing of engines and their auxiliary devices for safety testing in accordance with the list given in section 4
