The standard applies to static (electronic) var-hour meters (hereinafter referred to as counters) of accuracy class 1; 2 and 3, designed to measure AC electrical reactive energy with a frequency of 50 or 60 Hz, and establishes requirements for the manufacture and testing of meters. The standard is based on the generally accepted definition of reactive energy for sinusoidal currents and voltages containing only the fundamental frequency. The standard applies to indoor meters and outdoor meters that contain a measuring element and counting mechanism (s) enclosed in a meter body. It also applies to the operation indicator (s) and test output (s). If the meter has a measuring element for measuring energy of more than one type (energy meters of different types) or other functional elements are enclosed in the meter case, such as maximum readings, electronic tariff registrars, time switches, remote control receivers, data interfaces, etc. D., then apply the relevant standards or regulatory documents of the States referred to in the preface as voted for the adoption of the standard on these elements. The standard does not apply to: a) var-hour meters with a voltage between terminals over 600 V (line voltage for multi-phase meters); b) portable meters; c) interfaces to the counter counting mechanism; d) reference meters.
Стандарт распространяется на статические (электронные) счетчики вар-часов (далее - счетчики) классов точности 1; 2 и 3, предназначенные для измерения электрической реактивной энергии переменного тока частотой 50 или 60 Гц, и устанавливает требования к изготовлению и испытаниям счетчиков. Стандарт базируется на общепринятом определении реактивной энергии для синусоидальных токов и напряжений, содержащих только основную частоту. Стандарт распространяется на счетчики, применяемые внутри помещения, и счетчики для наружной установки, содержащие измерительный элемент и счетный(е) механизм(ы), заключенные вместе в корпус счетчика. Он также распространяется на индикатор(ы) функционирования и испытательный(е) выход(ы). Если счетчик имеет измерительный элемент для измерения энергии более чем одного вида (счетчики энергии разных видов) либо в корпус счетчика заключены другие функциональные элементы, такие как показатели максимума, электронные регистраторы тарифов, переключатели по времени, приемники дистанционного управления, интерфейсы передачи данных и т. Д., то применяют соответствующие стандарты или нормативные документы государств, упомянутых в предисловии как проголосовавших за принятие стандарта, на эти элементы.
