The standard establishes safety requirements for the design of self-propelled combine harvesters and fodder combines with tractors and measures to eliminate or reduce the dangers arising from the operation of such machines. The standard applies to newly developed and modernized machines. The standard does not cover environmental aspects and hazards associated with dust, resistance, braking and noise.
Стандарт устанавливает требования безопасности к конструкции самоходных и агрегатируемых с тракторами зерноуборочных и кормоуборочных комбайнов и меры по исключению или уменьшению опасностей, возникающих при эксплуатации таких машин. Стандарт распространяется на вновь разрабатываемые и модернизируемые машины. Стандарт не распространяется на экологические аспекты и опасные факторы, связанные с пылью, устойчивостью, торможением и шумом.
