GOST R 53627-2009

Fine-layered polymer coating for roadway of bridges. Specifications

Status: Effective - Introduced for the first time

This standard applies to thin polymer coatings of the carriageway (with sidewalks) of road, city, movable and pedestrian bridges; railway bridges with metal and reinforced concrete spans with a ballast, constructed in any climatic zones of the Russian Federation and seismic areas with an estimated seismicity of up to 9 points inclusive. This standard establishes the general technical requirements, operating characteristics and rules for the production of works on thin-layer coatings. If this standard establishes other rules and / or requirements than those provided for in previously adopted standards and regulatory documents, the rules and / or requirements of this standard apply. This standard establishes the use of thin polymer coatings on bridges instead of asphalt and reinforced concrete in order to solve the following tasks: - significant reduction of permanent loads from the weight of the bridge bed on the span structure and, as a result, reduction of steel rolled products consumption by 7% -10% and (or) increasing the class of temporary moving loads; - increase resistance to the effects of the following corrosive environments: - the atmosphere of industrial areas; - aggressive exhaust from motor vehicles; - aggressive precipitation; - reagents used against ice; - possible spillage of aggressive liquids; - increase of crack resistance and wear resistance to mechanical and dynamic effects in any climatic zone (high mechanical and elastic properties); - increase the service life of the coating; - improving the safety of vehicles and pedestrians due to the resistance of coatings to the formation of ice; - increase traffic safety and increase the estimated speeds of freight and passenger trains
