The standard applies to electronic control systems of residential buildings that perform functions of control, monitoring and transmission of information, including electronic devices distributed in residential premises or buildings (controllers, sensors, sensors, actuators, communication units, power supplies, network access units and others) and the physical medium of signal transmission, which can be used as cable lines, radio lines, fiber-optic and infrared lines. The standard also applies to the interfaces of equipment used in residential premises and buildings (computer equipment, electronic products, household electrical appliances, lighting devices, air-conditioning devices, ventilation, burglar and fire alarms, etc.), which provide the interface between the specified equipment and electronic control system. The standard does not apply to technical means not intended for connection to electronic control systems.
Стандарт распространяется на электронные системы управления жилых помещений зданий, выполняющие функции управления, контроля и передачи информации, включающие распределенные в жилых помещениях или в зданиях электронные устройства (контроллеры, датчики, сенсоры, исполнительные механизмы, блоки связи, блоки питания, блоки доступа к сети и др.) и физическую среду передачи сигналов, в качестве которой могут применяться кабельные линии, радиолинии, волоконно-оптические и инфракрасные линии. Стандарт распространяется также на интерфейсы оборудования, применяемого в жилых помещениях и зданиях (средств вычислительной техники, радиоэлектронных изделий, бытовых электрических приборов, световых приборов, устройств кондиционирования, вентиляции, охранной и пожарной сигнализации и т.д.), обеспечивающие сопряжение указанного оборудования с электронной системой управления. Стандарт не распространяется на технические средства, не предназначенные для подключения к электронным системам управления.
