GOST R IEC 61969-1-2013

Mechanical structures for electronic equipment. Outdoor enclosures. Design guidelines

Status: Effective - Introduced for the first time. IUS 7-2014

This standard establishes guidelines for the design of enclosures for outdoor installation and is used for various mechanical, electromechanical and electronic equipment and its installation, where the modular design principle is used. The purpose of this standard is to give a general idea of the technical characteristics of enclosures, which must meet the requirements for outdoor installation in places not protected from the effects of weather conditions. It is accepted that these enclosures can contain any equipment and provide protection for outdoor installation from unwanted environmental influences (see Figure 1). Installed equipment may be represented, but not limited to, block frames in accordance with IEC 60917-2-2 or IEC 60297-3
