The standard applies to self-supporting insulated wires for overhead power lines for rated voltage up to 0.6 / 1 kV inclusive and protected wires for overhead power lines for rated voltage 20 kV (for networks with voltage of 10, 15 and 20 kV) and 35 kV (for networks for voltage of 35 kV) with a nominal frequency of 50 Hz. The standard establishes the basic requirements for the construction and technical characteristics of wires, their performance properties and test methods.
Стандарт распространяется на самонесущие изолированные провода для воздушных линий электропередачи на номинальное напряжение до 0,6/1 кВ включительно и защищенные провода для воздушных линий электропередачи на номинальное напряжение 20 кВ (для сетей на напряжение 10, 15 и 20 кВ) и 35 кВ (для сетей на напряжение 35 кВ) номинальной частотой 50 Гц. Стандарт устанавливает основные требования к конструкциям и техническим характеристикам проводов, их эксплуатационные свойства и методы испытаний
