This standard applies to poultry meat (poultry carcass and its parts, mechanically deboned poultry meat), edible offal of poultry, semi-finished meat and edible offal of poultry, and edible raw poultry fat (hereinafter - product) and establishes sampling methods: flushing (rinsing) from the entire surface of the bird carcass and its parts; - swabbing (wiping) the surface of the poultry carcass and its parts; - cutting (excision) of tissue pieces and sample preparation for microbiological studies
