This standard applies to newly designed and reconstructed (except railway) permanent bridges on inland waterways. The distribution of the requirements of this standard on reconstructed railway bridges should be considered individually for each specific case. The provisions of this standard are to be applied by enterprises and associations of enterprises located on the territory of states, including unions, associations, concerns, joint-stock companies, inter-sectoral, regional and other associations, regardless of their form of ownership and subordination, ministries (departments) and other authorities. The standard does not apply to shipping bridges over the straits of the sea and bays, sea canals, sections of waterways through which state borders pass, as well as through estuaries of rivers where ships enter
Настоящий стандарт распространяется на вновь проектируемые и реконструируемые (кроме железнодорожных) постоянные мосты на внутренних водных путях. Распространение требований настоящего стандарта на реконструируемые железнодорожные мосты должно рассматриваться индивидуально для каждого конкретного случая. Положения настоящего стандарта подлежат применению расположенными на территории государств предприятиями и объединениями предприятий, в том числе союзами, ассоциациями, концернами, акционерными обществами, межотраслевыми, региональными и другими объединениями, независимо от форм собственности и подчинения, министерствами (ведомствами) и другими органами управления. Стандарт не распространяется на судоходные пролеты мостов через морские проливы и заливы, морские судоходные каналы, участки водных путей, по которым проходят государственные границы, а также через устьевые участки рек, в которые заходят морские суда
