The standard applies to special clothing designed to protect workers from harmful and hazardous production factors arising during welding: small splashes of molten metal, metal scale, short-term contact with the flame. The standard establishes technical requirements for special clothing, including its manufacture, appearance, materials used in its manufacture, as well as requirements for packaging, labeling, transportation and storage, quality control methods, safety requirements and instructions for use. The standard should be applied in the design of special clothing, when setting for production and certification.
Стандарт распространяется на специальную одежду, предназначенную для защиты работающих от вредных и опасных производственных факторов, возникающих в ходе проведения сварочных работ: мелких брызг расплавленного металла, металлической окалины, кратковременного контакта с пламенем. Стандарт устанавливает технические требования к специальной одежде, в том числе к ее изготовлению, внешнему виду, материалам, используемым при ее изготовлении, а также требования к упаковке, маркировке, транспортированию и хранению, методы контроля качества, требования безопасности и указания по эксплуатации. Стандарт должен применяться при проектировании специальной одежды, при постановке на производство и сертификации.
