The standard establishes the structural and functional requirements for mechanical temperature controllers for gas appliances, defines the terminology, labeling and test methods. The standard applies to mechanical thermostats, which directly or indirectly regulate the temperature using an integrated gas valve and do not need to supply electrical energy from an external source. The requirements of the standard are applicable to temperature controllers of all gas appliances used for heating or cooling, operating on natural and (or) liquefied gases. The standard applies to thermostats that are embedded in gas appliances installed indoors.
Стандарт устанавливает конструктивные и функциональные требования к механическим терморегуляторам для газовых аппаратов, определяет терминологию, маркировку и методы проведения испытаний. Стандарт распространяется на механические терморегуляторы , которые прямо или косвенно осуществляют регулирование температуры с помощью встроенного газового клапана и не нуждаются в подводе электрической энергии от внешнего источника. Требования стандарта применимы к терморегуляторам всех газовых аппаратов, используемых для нагрева или охлаждения, работающих на природном и (или) сжиженном газах. Стандарт распространяется на терморегуляторы, которые встраивают в газовые аппараты, устанавливаемые в закрытом помещении.
