This standard applies to sectional isolators, intended for: - for sectioning contact hangers with one and two contact wires on public railway transport, sections of electric rolling stock (EPS) at speeds up to 250 km / h; - for separation and formation of switchable sections of the contact network of stations joining two kinds of current (AC voltage of 25 kV and DC - 3 kV); - for the formation of neutral inserts (25/25 and 25/3 kV); - to separate the phases of the contact AC network
