The standard applies to cold-smoked fish. The standard does not apply to anchovy, bull (except oceanic), yellowfin, sprat, salmon, sturgeon, merlanku, oily capelin, Baltic herring, herring, herring, sardine (Sardine, Sardine, Sardinella), smelt, Azov-Black Sea shrimp cm and less, sprat, eel (except for sea), hamsu, cartilage fish.

Стандарт не распространяется на анчоусовые, бычка (кроме океанического), желтоперку, кильку, лососевые, осетровые, мерланку, жирную мойву, салаку, сельди, сельди-иваси, сардины (сардину, сардинопс, сардинеллу), снеток, азово-черноморскую ставриду длиной 21 см и менее, тюльку, угря (кроме морского), хамсу, хрящевую рыбу.
