The standard applies to bolts, stud nuts and flat backplates, spherical convex and concave washers for flanged connections of reactors, steam generators, vessels, pump casings, valves, pipelines and fittings operating at temperatures from 0 to 350 ° C for equipment first and second the contours of nuclear power plants, experimental and research nuclear reactors and plants with water-cooled and graphite-water (uranium-graphite) reactors. The standard does not apply to fasteners for flange connections of structural elements containing fissile materials or materials of absorbers and retarders; devices located inside the buildings of equipment, buildings of turbines; equipment and pipelines manufactured from non-metallic materials; on connecting parts of technological channels of reactors with compaction of the “ball on cone” type.

Стандарт не распространяется на крепежные детали фланцевых соединений конструктивных элементов, содержащих делящиеся материалы или материалы поглотителей и замедлителей; устройств, расположенных внутри корпусов оборудования, корпусов турбин; оборудования и трубопроводов, изготовляемых из неметаллических материалов; на соединительные части технологических каналов реакторов с уплотнением типа «шар по конусу».
