This standard establishes atomic spectral methods (atomic emission with inductively coupled plasma as a source of excitation of the spectrum and atomic absorption with flame and electrothermal atomization) for determining the mass fraction of impurities in high-purity copper with separation of the substrate by substochiometric extraction of di-2-ethylhexyl dithiophosphoric acid or electrolysis
