The standard applies to food supplement - lactic acid E270, obtained by fermentation of carbohydrate-containing raw materials by lactic acid bacteria of the genus Lactobacillus, synthesizing D (-) -, L () -, DL-lactic acids, and intended for use in the food industry as a food acidity regulator.
