GOST R IEC 60079-30-1-2009

Explosive atmospheres. Electrical resistance trace heating. Part 30-1. General technical requirements and test methods

Status: Not effective - Canceled. Registration information 1617-st dated December 22, 2011. Use GOST IEC 60079-30-1-2011 Introduced for the first time (IUS 3-2013)

This standard establishes general technical requirements and requirements for testing resistive distributed electric heaters used in explosive gas environments. The standard applies to electric heaters, which may include factory or workplace mounted devices, which are serial heating cables, parallel heating cables or gaskets, and heating panels that are installed and / or sealed in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. This standard also specifies the requirements for terminations and control methods used with electric heaters. The hazardous areas specified in the standard are those defined in IEC 60079-10
