The standard applies to extension cords on AC cable coils with a non-removable flexible cable (hereinafter referred to as extension cords) designed to ensure the connection of electrical receivers to single-phase electrical networks with a nominal voltage of St. 50 V, but not more than 250 V and with a voltage of over. 50 V, but not more than 440 V for all other extension cords, and a rated current of not more than 16 A. The extenders are designed for domestic and similar use indoors or outside at ambient temperatures up to 25 ° C with a permissible time increase of up to 35 ° C.
