Status: Effective. The limitation of the effectiveness period has been lifted: Protocol No. 3-93 of the IGU dated 03.03.93 (IUS 5-6-1993)

The standard applies to purified sodium hydroxide, obtained by electrolysis of a sodium chloride solution using a mercury cathode. Purified caustic soda is used in the production of chemical filaments and fibers, pure metals, in pulp and paper and in other industries.

Стандарт распространяется на очищенный едкий натр, получаемый электролизом раствора хлористого натрия с примененим ртутного катода. Очищенный едкий натр применяют в производстве химических нитей и волокон, чистых металлов, в целлюлозно-бумажной и в других отраслях промышленности.
